10. Nothing Runs Like a Deere (John Deere)
When I think of John Deere, I think of a quote from “The Simpsons” when the newspaper’s farm critic said, “I think it’s time we send John Deere a ‘Dear John.’” Classic. But, the company has found success with this because it has helped lead the company to be top of mind for farming and lawn equipment.

9. Eat Fresh (Subway)
Clean, simple, to the point. You are expecting fresh ingredients and what not. You go in. That’s what you get. I think it also encourages you to “eat fresh” for other meals too. The slogan is catchy due to the way it is said in the commercials (you’re hearing it in your mind right now).

8. Then. Now. Forever. (WWE)

WWE had a brand makeover a few years ago that included a new logo and slogan. I think this speaks volume for the company’s rich history in entertaining the millions and millions of fans.

7. Touching Lives, Improving Life (Procter & Gamble)
Millions of people use a P&G product and this slogan proves that. It is very accurate and meaningful.

6. Innovation (3M)
That’s what the company does: innovate.

5. Trust the Midas Touch (Midas)
A long time ago, this slogan really never “hit” me until one day I learned who Midas was. Midas was the mythological King of Phrygia and whatever he touched turned to gold. Once I finally learned that, my mind was blown.

4. Let your fingers do the walking (Yellow Pages)
This is pretty clever. When you flip the page, it is like your fingers are walking; duh. But, will Yellow Pages eventually have to change to something more appropriate for the digital world? Maybe something like, “let your fingers do the clicking”?

3. What Can Brown do for You? (UPS)
Brown is UPS. UPS is Brown. Isn’t that such a great branding success? It is very rare a company is able to trademark and/or copyright a color, but UPS has. Good for them. The company took their color and made it into a successful slogan.

2. There is no Substitute (Porsche)
Is there really? No. This is plain, simple, and to the point. You want the best you go with Porsche.

1. Just Do It (Nike)
Is there any other apparel company’s or even company’s slogan that you know by heart and can recall at the snap of a finger? Probably not. You may have to think for a bit. Nike’s slogan is engrained into the hearts and minds of everybody. It gave birth to similar slogans and is easily referenced in pop culture. This is a true mark of success.
