CNBC released an article of JUST Capital’s annual analysis of corporate performance regarding ESG for the year 2022. The article and analysis by JUST Capital lists the top companies regarding their business models related to ESG (Economic, Social, Government) investments. This is all related to corporate social responsibility and in one hippie view, how they address climate change. In my opinion, the list focuses too much on a company’s carbon footprint. Overall, nice read of what these companies are doing and how they are approaching the ever changing world we live in. It’s also surprising to see what companies are on and not on the list.
Obviously these are large, public companies but would be nice if some smaller public companies are listed. I imagine there’s more progressive smaller and private companies making a positive contribution related to ESG but that’s for you to look into.
